Garden Village, Costa Rica is a center for learning, discovery and applied, inventive intellect. A vibrant tropical environment offers a vortex of cosmic truths and a home to all wishing to participate in creating a new paradigm, both within themselves and in the greater world.
Our primary educational facility provides an immersive experience that is a distinct contrast to traditional, regimented college coursework. A work-stay at Garden Village merges an other-worldly biological environment combined with a unique cultural exchange with the local Costa Rican population as well as Indigenous groups of the region. Interns are provided with personal empowerment tools and an opportunity to refine their own practice of self-directed learning and self reliance.
Our Vision
In the jungles of Costa Rica, Nature lives in the Fire of volcanoes, the Water of the rain and rivers, the Earth of the mountains, animals and trees. In the midst, there is Garden Village where people come together in the Air of spirit, with supreme regard for all life written on their hearts. It is the dream of this garden state that draws them to work, play, learn and explore the consciousness of a new day. And in this new paradigm of co-creation, unbound potential for versions of leading-edge technologies that correspond to Nature’s rhythms are dreamed into birth.

From its initiation in 2002 ASET has been inspired by the soul of the earth to create and provide a setting for technologies of the new era of living in harmony with the land. Sacred Earth Technology; leading the edge
Sacred Geometry
We have coined the term Sacred Earth Technology to refer to guidance we receive from the Gaia consciousness. In this new paradigm of co-creation, unbound potential for versions of leading edge technologies that correspond to Nature’s rhythms are dreamed into birth. Within the Zen tradition there are three paths of enlightenment; the student, the teacher, and the one who works to ease the burden of all beings. The third is about manifesting solutions. That’s what we are all about.
Kara’s RailPlane — PRT
ASET is preparing for a major expansion in its operation both in Oregon and at our facility in Costa Rica, where the values developed in our intimate setting thus far at Garden Village can be expanded to include more students. The primary framework for this expansion is the next phase of the RailPlane project and the purpose of the fundraising campaign. We intend to integrate and connect the burgeoning technological revolution currently underway in the Pacific North West with the vibrancy of a tropical environment to create a world class demonstration/destination site for the RailPlane technology.
Lady Earth has an offer to the people of the world that goes like this: “Give me a tank of gas (the dollar equivalent), and I will give you a better way to travel.”
Strawjet: a new way to build, a new way to travel

Central to our project is the Strawjet technology, and the commitment that we have made to bringing it to Garden Village. Strawjet utilizes renewable agricultural byproducts to create an unlimited building supply material. Because Strawjet agricultural materials are produced annually it can provide abundant biological materials for a variety of building applications. Strawjet in unison with Railplane represent a solution to climate change.
